Born and raised in Kansas, Jim moved to Tulsa in 1978 and worked for a national contractor as an engineer. He then went to work for a nationally respected architectural wood manufacturer as President of their installation and construction company and later co-owning a porcelain coating business with large national clients and International suppliers.
